Can I make special room requests?

Of course! National Park Travel Club is happy to advise hotels of any special room requests or requirements, provided we receive them at the time your reservation is made. Please be aware that all requests cannot be guaranteed and additional fees may be applied.

Can the National Park Travel Club book rooms before and after my adventure?

Your lodging is secured for your first through last night of your tour. National Park Travel Club is happy to assist you in booking a pre or post tour night stay at the hotel we are staying at based on availability.  If you would like to choose an alternative hotel, we can make suggestions, but it will be the traveler’s responsibility to handle the booking. Give us a call, and we would be happy to recommend lodging and activities in your departure and arrival cities.

Does National Park Travel Club work with Travel Agents?

National Park Travel Club highly values working with travel professionals. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have an Agent you are working with.

How far in advance should I make my reservation?

It is highly recommended that you book as soon as dates are made available – our tours often are filled up to a year in advance. We have limited departure dates for each region that we visit. If you are in search of a private section on the Limo Liner or a private vacation with your closest travel companions, the timing of your booking is even more critical.

What is due at the time of booking with National Park Travel Club?

A deposit is required to hold a reservation for a National Park Travel Club adventure. A $1,500.00 per person deposit must be made for our 7 days, 6-night tours and must be received at the time of your booking, or received at our office within 10 days of your booking date. $1000.00 of this deposit is non-refundable without travel insurance.

All Day Trips must be paid in full at time of booking.

What hours can I contact a Tour Specialist at National Park Travel Club to discuss my tour?

You can give us a call any time you would like! If you prefer talking to a human, our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (excluding celebratory holidays). If you happen to call after hours, be sure to leave us a voicemail and we will reach out to you within the next business day.

What forms of payment does the National Park Travel Club accept?

National Park Travel Club accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and check payments. To book your All-Inclusive Vacation or Day Trip with National Park Travel Club, you may use our online booking platform or call our offices on our secure line, 4-Day and 7-Day Vacation final payments are due 100 days before departure.

Will I have to make payment at the time I make a reservation?

A deposit is required to hold a reservation for a National Park Travel Club adventure. A $1,500.00 per person deposit must be made for our 7 days, 6-night tours and must be received at the time of your booking, or received at our office within 10 days of your booking date.

$500.00 of this deposit is non-refundable without travel insurance.

Will I receive documentation when I book a National Park Travel Club adventure?

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a booking summary and a trip receipt. This communication will come in the form of an email and will be sent immediately after a booking is confirmed. But it doesn’t stop there – we want to get to know each guest and their travel preferences before their departure. Following your booking summary, you will receive your Welcome Packet with your next steps as a traveler with National Park Travel Club as well as your travel waivers. These consist of Acknowledgement of Risks and Release of Liability Waiver, Emergency Contact Information, Photo & Publicity Release Form, and Guest Profile Form.

How many meals will the Tour Chef prepare while on our adventure?

What is hungry? We strategically plan our meals with our Tour Chef to conform to the demands of the itinerary schedule – ensuring that our guests are always full and content. The Tour Chef prepares locally-sourced meals that reflect the flavors of the region. Utilizing hand-selected destinations to prepare in the field, our Tour Chef enables each traveler to maximize their time exploring the parks rather than racing to make a reservation across town.

In addition to planned meals with our Tour Chef, you will also have the opportunity to taste the local fare by utilizing your Flex Pass when the Chef is not providing your culinary inclusions. Complimentary in-transit appetizers, desserts and hand-crafted beverages will be available all day throughout your tour.

Is alcohol included and served on the Expedition Cruiser?

Yes, local and domestic beer and wine are made available to those who want to drink responsibly. This is included as are all refreshments that are made available while on tour. Please know that this is not a booze cruise. All-inclusive alcohol is a privilege and guests are expected to use their best judgment when consuming it. The National Park Travel Club Hospitality Guide reserve the right to refuse serving alcohol to any individual where safety is at risk or behavior affects other travelers.

Will I have individual time with the Senior Tour Specialist to ask questions?

Absolutely. Our small group atmosphere allows a lot of opportunities to get to know your guide. We have at least one expert guide on each tour.  The Senior Tour Specialist is completely free of distraction to focus specifically on your needs. The flora, fauna and human history are all important to communicate as well as hearing the stories of the region that only local insight can offer.

What is the activity level of the tour?

Anything you would like it to be. We have strategically crafted each of our adventures to be compatible with various activity levels and multi-generational travelers – ensuring that each guest receives the vacation that fulfills their unique interests. Your Guest Profile Form will help us understand how to best meet your needs while on the tour.
